LDLA's Mission

The Labor Day LA Foundation is a non-profit that strives through events to develop GLBT support for and interest in philanthropy, and to highlight the work of and raise funds for different GLBT non-profits.

LDLA '10 beneficiary charities are AIDS Healthcare Foundation and the AIDS Lifecycle (associated with the LA Gay & Lesbian Center)and Equality California Institute(EQCAI), all 501 (c)(3) non-profit organizations. In past years, LDLA has made funding grants to AIDS Project Los Angeles, Human Rights Campaign Foundation, Trevor Project, Gay and Lesbian Elder Housing, Lifeworks and The Point Foundation.
